Other names for the White Hat and Black Hat SEO are Ethical and Unethical SEO respectively. Apart from some decided methods that are put in these two categories, there is no official Code of Ethics.
Each website is totally free to choose the ethics they want to enforce in their functionality as long as they are focused on bettering the experience of users while using all the right and legal techniques.
Most of these websites display the ethic adopted by them and it is a positive thing to do since it increases the transparency and makes users trust it more.
